As
responsible workers in the Florida Green Industries, we as a company certify
all employees through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection with
the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences in
"Best Management Practices".
As
a result we:
- Reduce off site transport of sediment, nutrients, and pesticides
through surface water or ground water.
- Use appropriate rates and methods of applying fertilizer and
irrigation.
- Use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to minimize pests and apply
chemicals only when appropriate.
As
residents of Florida it is our
responsibility to help conserve water, protect our natural resources, minimize
the need for regulation, and continue Florida's commitment of sound
environmental stewardship.
